PERRELET RENEWS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PRESTIGIOUS DUBAI GLOBE SOCCER AWARDS
Swiss Watchmaking Manufacture Perrelet is honoured to be, for the second year running, the official watch partner of the prestigious Dubai Globe Soccer Awards to be held in Dubai (UAE) on November 17th 2022 in the stunning venue of the Madinat Jumeirah Resort.

This kermesse, in its 13th edition, will anticipate the FIFA World Cup Qatar 22. This annual event, officially hosted by the Dubai Sports Council under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is distinguished by awarding not only the top players, but also those who contribute to the success of this sport, including agents, managers and personalities from the digital world.
Football icons who have excelled both on and off the pitch in the past season will be selected through an initial phase in which fans form all over the world vote their favourites in each category, contributing the final decision of the Jury on the winners.
Nominees include some of the most internationally renowned names such as Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo in the Best Men’s Player Category or José Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti as Best Coach to name a few.
The laureates who have distinguished themselves in this world-famous sport will receive as a prize an exclusive work of art signed by the Italian Moscati Architecture Studio. This sculpture consists of a polished/brushed gold sphere representing a ball which seems to roll on a curving steel arch symbolising the jury assigning the awards.
Alongside this stunning prize Perrelet will bestow the award-winning stars with its mechanical watches from the new “Turbine Carbon” collection. Very comfortable and light thanks to its innovative polycarbonate and carbon fibre case, the "Turbine Carbon Black Edition” with its attractive rotating Turbine on the dial is decked out in black from head to toe sporting a total black look. This collection is powered by the 100% in-house manufactured automatic caliber P-331-MH, covered by the prestigious COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) certification, testifying high precision in timekeeping after having undergone a series of tests.
